CUSTOMERS PERSONAS

      ‎
The objective of this class is to help us find who our ideal customers are

I've premade a form that can help us achieve that, which i will give at the end of the class

Though we may have the same customers but your ideal customer is different from mine

Your ideal customer is based on what you're selling or the service you're offering

Nevertheless, there are basic qualities all ideal customers must have relative to your business

*1. They must have the problem you can solve*

*2. They must have the means to buy and use your product*

Or pay for your service as the case  may be

*3. They must engage with your product*

A customer who isn't engaged with your product will not become a repeat cutomer

For example, a guy who buys a necklace as a gift for his girl wouldn't come tomorrow buying the same again

 Who's with me??

Now that you know what your ideal customer should look like, we can now figure out how to find them

To do this, you need to follow some guidelines...

They are more of questions you need to answer

This is one of the most important activity you can do for your business

It will help you narrow your focus in finding your ideal customer

Here are some tips to help you find your ideal customers

 *A. Analyse Past Interactions*

Analysing your customers past interactian help you determine exactly when your ideal customer buys your product and what their buying strategy

How does your customer go about making a buying decision for your product?

What has to happen in the life or work of your customer for them to buy from you?

If you sell consumer goods like soaps, then you know your customer is trying to get something clean

You will also know that he/she is buying because the current one finished

What time does your customer buy?
 ‎
Do they buy daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly?

This can help you determine how often you should restock your product or betterstil remarket to them

Marketing everyday to people  who only buy your product quarterly can be a waste of marketing resources

How have your customer bought similar products in the past?

For a clothing line, do they buy a top when they buy a jean?

Its logical to buy milk when you buy tea

*B. What are your target audience demographics?*

*B. What are your target audience demographics?*

The next step is to choose the specific details of your ideal customers

Think about who needs your product

 What's their age? Gender?

Where do they live? What do they do for a living?

Are they married? Or single?

Do they have kids?

Answering these questions gives you a mental picture of who your ideal customer is

If you're lucky, you may end up creating a customer profile that is incredibly specific

 *C. Create a Customer Persona*

A customer persona or profile, is a description of the ideal customer as if he or she were a real person

You may even have a real customer in mind that exemplifies your ideal customer

So combine all the information you've written out about your ideal customer to create a customer persona
[5*So here is a sample of my customer persona:*

I like to help entrepreneurs who are interested in promoting their business online effectively

:*My Customer Persona:*

Age group: 25 - 44
Gender: Male and Female
Education Status: Higher Education
Location: Lagos
Employment Status: Self-Employed/Entrepreneur

To achieve a good result, you should try as much as possible to narrow your audience to the barest minimum

I've created a form to help you define who your ideal customer is
