📌 3 supervisor are (i)  I. T place supervisor (ii) Institution based Supervisor (iii) I. T. F based Supervisor. and personal self agency such Punctuality,Honesty, Humility(well behave) ETC.

📌 Stay somewhere close to your SIWES organisation for proper convenience.



📌 After all had been done for 24 weeks. FG will pay a Stipend that will cater for our Transportation durning the Industrial Training. Through the school ITF office..

📌 Ensure you use account name that correspond with your school details name (name school use to offer you an admission) of which if it's different, it's an issue getting your  Stipend i. t pay from FG.

📌 Account number must not be more than 10 digit... check for correction before leaving the school.

📌 Ensure you own the account details yourself like not someone else even though relative.

📌 School agree with student union the use of Wema or GTBank for the i. t stuff.

*PRESENTATION*

SIWES  DOCUMENTS

1. SCAF Form
SCAF = Student Commencement Of Attachment Form

Write the location of the company where one is working not the P.O Box

Form being submitted at least 2 weeks after commencement of attachment

To be Submitted in the ITF Area office around your place of work

Being signed by Institutional Based Supervisor and the Industry based Supervisor

2. Form 8
A recent passport photograph being attached and signed by Institution and Industrial based Supervisor.

I'll complete part A on my own while

 The Industry based Supervisor filled , signed and stamped by him

Keep the form till after the SIWES programme

3. LOG BOOK
Fill in your Details , Attach passport photograph

Organisational Profile. With the guidiance of the industry Based Supervisor

Daily Record of Activities.
Get an Extra Notebook for a Detailed record of Daily Activities that will help develop the technical report and the Presentation

Write the Week number, month and the Date..  If you're throught with the activity for the week Sign andcomment  while the industry Based Supervisor sign and Stamp every week.

Take the LOG BOOK to where the SCAF Form has been submitted for Signing. So you'll get back to school with your LOG BOOK and your Form 8.

On a Final Note . Double check Your Name , Account Number is entered correctly at the school ITU before commencing SIWES .


*QUESTIONS FROM STUDENTS*

📌  A student from PMT : What if you mistakenly misplaced your LOG BOOK -  Solution : Report to I. T. U Futa Akure, Ondo state., Your H. O. D, Police station around you or call, text contact number under your i. t letter given to you.
📌 A student from BCH : Doing i. t outside the country and doing it in two different places is it all possible - Answer : Existing law do not permit doing it outside the country except there's Futa staff @ that foreign place. This usually possible to Architecture students.  And it's usually possible to do it in two different places but let the the i. t u along for proper supervision and ensure its for the pursuit of practical knowledge or cogent reason such organisation strike, related issues but not for the sake of making more money.

📌 A student from BCH : Late secure of i. t placement - Solution : Pass the information to the i. t. u or i. t supervisor : can help secure one but mostly no payment @ all.
📌 Question : How to notify change of i. t placement and change of account details issue -  Answer : Call, test or email the contact and email below your given i. t letter.
