I wish to commend your overwhelming support and the goodwill that the current administration has been enjoying. In your aspirations for a better Federal University of Technology Akure Students' Union [FUTASU], our aims of taking FUTASU to greater heights and providing proper representation to you has found immense hope and renewed faith.

In the last three weeks, I am glad with the various reports and news coming from residents of Off-Campus Area of the University about the state of electricity.
The students appreciated the Students' Union for their intervention in the power supply (though it is still not the best but a great improvement compared to the sorry state earlier). The meeting held with Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) on June 19, 2017 is yielding desirable results and we will not rest on our oars to provide the best for the Union members.

As the President of the Students' Union, I visited the University Health Centre yesterday and expressed the plights students face in the administration of drugs and receiving better services. They therefore promised to continue working assiduously in discharging their functions to the largest stakeholders on Campus which is the Students.

It is imperative for me to intimate you about the price regulation of essential items on campus. We are passionate to achieve this and we will ensure all traders and Kiosk Owners abide with the price regulations of essential items if it pertain to their markets. By next week, you will see the price of new items regulated. Your welfare is of utmost concern to us.

Thanks for giving us the mandate to serve you. We therefore promise to serve you better with all our strengths.
