ISSUES ARISING

The students union, comprised of unique, pragmatic, erudite and future-oriented minds dedicated to the general welfare of the entire student body of Federal University Of Technology Akure.


*300LEVEL ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING SUSPENDED*
This is to inform the 300level students presently undergoing Entrepreneurship training (ENT) that all ENT trainings slated for this weekend, Friday to Saturday, 7th & 8th July, 2017 at the different locations has been suspended with immediate effect in the light of the irreplaceable  loss of two lives that were lost. After agitation by the ever agile FUTASU President, *Comrade Olaseinde Adeyinka(Sir Newton)*

We implore all FUTARIANS, especially the 300level students, to use this time, to reflect and reenergize on the journey ahead. We pray such loss will no longer be experienced amongst us again.

*REDUCTION IN ILLARA MOKIN T-FARE*
After a positive discussion with cab drivers plying Northgate - Illara route, an agreement has been reached to reduce the t-fare from N70 to N50 starting from Monday,10th July, 2017.

*TRICYCLE UPDATE*
We encourage FUTARIANS to patronize the tricycle operators whose loading park is at Akindeko park. The tfare is N20 only.

*EXTENSION OF SHUTTLE ROUTE*
After the completion of the Malu road construction, the shuttles will be plying that route taking students directly to the Hostels. We implore all FUTARIANS to watch out for addition of more bus stops to ease movement within the campus.
